Data Analyst - F&B Startup - IIM/IIT

General Summary :

The role of data scientist is at the intersection of technology, business and advanced data analytics. We are looking for people who have the enthusiasm to tackle some of most interesting and challenging problems using data.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities :

- Complete ownership of data and analytics processes

- Use of data across business and operational processes such as

a) Pricing and Product-market fitment analytics

b) Data-driven insights to power marketing campaigns and promotional offers

c) Development and execution of CRM and retention strategies

d) Optimization of inventory, supply chain and operations processes using data

e) Dashboarding and Business Intelligence.

- Extreme dedication and initiative to be able to deliver at the break-neck speed that we work at.

- Coordination with senior management, technology teams, operations and marketing

Required Qualifications :

Knowledge, skills & abilities :

- Prior data science experience (preferably in an analytics or technology role)

- Strong Quantitative background

- Familiarity with common analysis tools- SQL, SAS & R are preferred.

- Programming background is a plus- demonstrable familiarity (work experience, Github account) with programming concepts

- Research mindset- ability to structure a project from idea to experimentation to prototype to implementation.

- Driven and focused - high on ownership, attitude and execution.

- Strong knowledge and experience working with advanced data analytics techniques and well versed with use of data analytics tools (SQL, R, SAS).

- Comfortable enough with research methodologies that they can structure abstract business and engineering problems with extreme precision, to drive system optimization and growth.

Minimum educational level : Masters Degree

Minimum experience : Minimum 3-6 Years Experience from Relevant Industry

- Generating insights for operations and supply chain from the data, for increasing the effectiveness of the process
