JOB ROLE:

MIS Strategy & Planning:

- Develop and implement an MIS strategy aligned with organizational goals and mutual fund industry best practices.

- Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into MIS solutions.

System Development & Implementation:

- Lead the design and development of business solutions, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.

- Oversee the implementation and integration of MIS systems within the mutual fund operations.

- Conduct thorough testing to ensure the accuracy and functionality of business reports.

Data Management:

- Manage data acquisition, validation, and transformation processes to ensure data accuracy and integrity.

- Implement and enforce data governance policies and procedures.

- Collaborate with data analysts to derive meaningful insights from mutual fund data.

Team Leadership:

- Provide leadership and guidance to the Business Intelligence team, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.

- Conduct regular performance evaluations, set goals, and provide ongoing professional development opportunities.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

- Collaborate with various departments to understand their information needs and tailor MIS solutions accordingly.

- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders

Technology, Evaluation & Adoption:

- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends in the mutual fund industry to recommend and implement innovative solutions.

- Evaluate and select technology vendors and tools that align with the organization's strategy.

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:

- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.

- Proven experience 8-10 years in leading BI teams within the financial services industry, preferably in mutual funds.

- Strong knowledge of mutual fund operations, regulations, and reporting requirements.

- In-depth understanding of BI technologies, databases, and data warehousing.

- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
