Seeking candidature for Purchase Manager (Head of Purchasing) with a leading Cement Manufacturing organisation

Job Description:

- Responsible for Purchase as well as Store management of the manufacturing Unit

- Plan, organize, direct, manage, evaluate the purchasing policies and strategy of the company

- Exposure towards managing raw material as well as Spare equipment procurement

- Forecasting of raw material required and ensuring timely delivery in order to avoid shut down

- Prior exposure in International dealing for raw material procurement is an essential requirement

Responsibilities:

- Negotiation with vendors

- Contract management

- Cut down on procurement costs

Skills & Competencies:

- Team management

- Negotiation skills

- Function knowledge of SAP environment

Relevant Experience:

Candidate needs to have around 15 to 20 years- experience in process driven manufacturing organisation
