Financial Analyst - reporting to CFO

The overall purpose of the role is to work with CFO and create value for the business. This will include setting up a robust internal control framework within the company. The role supports the CFO with the insight into the business with regard to gainful cost reductions and to achieve continuous and enhanced efficiency.

The role requires to challenge stakeholders- point of view, speak up and sometimes push back. Ability to challenge beliefs or recommendations of stakeholders within the business is a must. The incumbent needs to communicate effectively and be able to clearly deliver messages to non-finance staff and build relationships and trust with them.

Education/Certifications - Chartered Accountant/MBA in Finance

Experience and other requirements:

- 2-3 years- experience in Financial Analysis role or equivalent experience in either a food or FMCG environment 

- Excellent communication skills with ability to influence senior leadership and to generate actionable recommendations 

- Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

- General knowledge of food / FMCG P&Ls

- Must be proficient / advanced in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint 

- Willing to work in a dynamic environment, passionate, able to wear multiple hats at the same time, strong team player with a - go-getter- attitude
