Job description

Experience

- Bachelors degree from Tier I/II colleges (Post Graduation - Good to have, not mandatory)

- 3-5 years of experience as BI consultant / Data Analyst in PowerBI / Tableau

- Extensive experience in on writing SQL Queries

- Strong knowledge of visual vocabulary and usage of correct chart

- Ability to communicate and document things clearly is a must

- Good to have: Strong PowerBI/Tableau Public profile

Responsibilities

- Prototyping, designing, and requirement analysis in collaboration with team/stakeholders

- Analyzing complex data using various tools and technology and transform it into meaningful intelligence in the form of key trends and major themes.

- Developing visual reports, dashboards and KPI scorecards using Power BI / Tableau

- Designing sample wireframes and present to the stakeholders

- Navigating through ambiguous requests to communicate and gather requirements effectively and provide additional analytical insights

- Proposing optimal data model to achieve the result

- Articulating analysis findings efficiently with onshore team

- Creating reusable dashboards components

Preferred Skills

- Ability to build medium to complex interactive dashboards using different type of data sources in PowerBI / Tableau, certification is added advantage

- Understanding of development, data modelling and ETL knowledge that includes Data Warehouse, Data Modelling, Cubes, Schema etc

- Must have working knowledge of different types of charts, tables, filters, calculated fields, parameters, functions, blending, LODs etc. in PowerBI and/or Tableau

- Skill in identifying data issues and anomalies during analysis

- Strong SQL Knowledge experience with performance optimization experience for data queries.

- Proven experience of working with other BI tools

- Knowledge of agile methodologies
