Job Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Ecommerce Manager to setup our online retail operations for a B2C Edible Nuts brand. This role is crucial in driving the growth and success of our online sales channel. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our ecommerce business, from website management and digital marketing to customer experience, sales order fulfilment and sales optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Ecommerce Strategy:

- Develop and execute a comprehensive ecommerce strategy aligned with the company's goals and objectives.

- Identify and prioritize growth opportunities, including product expansion, market penetration, and customer acquisition.

2. Website Development and Management:

- Oversee the day-to-day management of the company's ecommerce website, ensuring it is user-friendly, visually appealing, and up-to-date.

- Collaborate with web developers and designers to enhance site functionality and user experience.

- Monitor website performance and implement improvements as needed.

- Lead development of the company's D2C website.

3. Product Management:

- Manage the online product catalogue, including product listings inventory, descriptions, and pricing.

- Work closely with the product team to introduce new products and optimize existing ones based on market trends and customer feedback.

4. Digital Marketing:

- Develop and implement digital marketing campaigns to drive website traffic, customer acquisition, and retention, working in close co-ordination with the marketing team.

- Utilize SEO, SEM, email marketing, and social media to maximize online visibility and engagement.

- Analyse and optimize advertising spend to achieve ROI targets.

5. Customer Experience:

- Ensure a seamless and enjoyable shopping experience for customers, from browsing to checkout.

- Monitor customer feedback and reviews, and respond to inquiries and concerns promptly.

- Implement strategies to improve customer retention and loyalty.

6. Analytics and Reporting:

- Utilize data analytics tools to track and report on key performance metrics.

- Make data-driven decisions to optimize the ecommerce channel's performance and profitability.

- Provide regular reports to management on sales, customer behavior, and marketing effectiveness.

7. Inventory and Fulfilment:

- Collaborate with the operations team to manage inventory levels and ensure timely order fulfilment.

- Implement inventory control strategies to minimize stockouts and overstock situations.

8. Compliance and Security:

- Ensure compliance with all relevant ecommerce regulations and standards.

- Implement security measures to protect customer data and payment information.

9. Team Management:

- Lead and develop a team of ecommerce professionals, including marketers, customer support, and web developers.

- Foster a collaborative and results-driven work environment.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).

- Proven experience in ecommerce management, preferably in the food or CPG industry.

- Strong understanding of ecommerce platforms and technologies.

- Proficiency in digital marketing strategies and tools.
