- The candidate should have ideally worked at least 2+ years in corporate M&A or Business Finance in a reputed organization, Big 4 or an investment bank with an overall experience of 5+ years
- Demonstrated experience in successful deal project management from origination to execution and high level of attention to detail
- Preference to people who are from technology domain and can understand the business needs faster
Key Skills
- Strong analytical skills and finance fundamentals (excellent financial modeling skills)
- Strong internal, and business communication skills
- Experience with deal negotiations preferable or dealt with senior management or dealt with senior management in large corporates
- Independent and self-driven
The candidate would be responsible for helping to manage the strategic investments within the organization with the following key responsibilities:
- Work with the New Business Accelerator team to create and manage business plans for new investments
- Jointly work with the Business to build a business case / investment case on potential organic investments, JV, partnership and acquisition opportunities for Executive Council and Board approval
- Undertake New Business Accelerator budgeting and forecasting
- Help with the Design to Cost support and also on the pricing of the solution/IP created
- Financial evaluation and develop valuation models based on discounted cash flows, comparables etc.
- Convert qualitative information from business to quantitative numbers, for easier decision making
- Come up with a framework to evaluate investments which includes identifying the tangible and intangible benefits and track them periodically
- Advise management on disinvestment decisions if the investments are not yielding the desired outcomes
- Analyze the performance of the investment/business unit by benchmarking with external competition
