Customer Interface Engineer

We are an engineering design services company working with high profile OEMs across the transportation, aerospace, Heave engineering industry.

Our client is a rail client who is based out of Canada. We have a large team supporting our client from Hyderabad, India on 3D Modeling, 2D Drawing creation, Structural Analysis, Technical Publication and other engineering services.

- The client has manufacturing facilities in western Europe. We are currently looking to fill the role of a Customer Interface Engineer who will be based in France/Belgium/UK full time for a year starting early next year.

- The engineer will act as our main interface with the customer and coordinate day today engineering meetings with our offshore team.

- The engineer will also have a commercial responsibility to build sales and manage accounts receivable. Managing relationships, understanding the political dynamics and constantly fire-fighting will be your main responsibilities.

An ideal candidate will have the following :

- A degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics engineering

- An advanced degree in engineering/MBA will be a plus

- 3-4 years of experience in engineering/manufacturing environment

- Ability to work in a complex maze of multiple stakeholders (internal as well as external)

A chosen candidate will go through a rigorous on the job training in Delivery at our Hyderabad office for 3-6 months before deployment.

During this 3-6 months period the candidate is expected to develop a full understanding of rail engineering design (the processes and terminologies), the delivery methodology (trackers, project management tools) and finally on liaising with the delivery team in India.

The onsite assignment post that will be for a minimum of 1 year extending well beyond should the candidate perform well.
