- Solid experience in FP&A/Business Finance function with good partnership skills
- Prepare rigorous and detailed budgets annually and forecast/projections every month and good in preparing variance analysis and bridges to explain the movements against budget/forecast and the previous period. Should have experience in dealing with multiple currencies and understand the currency impact on P&L
- Work closely with the Business Unit (BU) head to understand the variances and reasons for the same; Should partner with the BU head and influence right decisions in a BU
- Experience in Pricing, Deal Margins, Commercial evaluations
- Should understand sales tax, service tax implications during contract negotiations
- Billing / control on Unbilled Revenue; Understanding of Revenue Recognition principles
- Work with the sales teams on customer contract renewals or new pricing negotiations
- To coordinate and follow up on the purchase of Capex and work on cost benefit analysis for leasing vs. purchase
- Basic understanding of taxation and transfer pricing implications; ability to understand tax benefits of working in software export zones and influence BUs to grow in these SEZs
- Should be able to take complete ownership of the P&L with an objective to improve the profitability
- Ability to work in chaotic environment and make sense of numbers, ability to filter information from disparate set of data sets and provide actionable information to the management
- Should have a keen desire to automate and bring about automation by working with IT teams
- Analyze the performance of the business unit by benchmarking with external competition.
- Should have preferably worked in export oriented IT services/ services companies/ KPO-type businesses
Soft Skills and IT Systems
- Should have excellent communication and presentation skills; should be able to effectively make presentations to CXO level senior management
- Should have very good inter personal skills and have the ability to work closely with the business teams and other enabling functions
- Leadership skills to manage teams. Should be able to hire, train and inspire teams and set them up for success. Should be a sought after manager who takes care of employee satisfaction whilst motivating them to take stretch goals.
- Apart from high proficiency in MS Office, prefer candidates who have worked on SAP and Hyperion
Qualification: MBA (full time, Tier 1) / / ICWA / CA
Experience: ~12 to 14 years of overall experience.
