Cyber Security Professional - IT

- Develop methodology/framework for providing consistent and repeatable security architecture guidance

- Identify opportunities to evolve, evangelize and embed security architecture standards and processes

- Assist in developing a security architecture program that demonstrates complete end-to-end traceability of security solutions to business goals.

- Develop appropriate technical and business security metrics for the cyber security architecture program to depict current state, demonstrate value and progress to diverse set of IT and Business Audience at all levels.

- Position the cyber security architecture program as the lifeline for all information security functions and develop inputs/outputs and processes for integrating with various groups like security strategy, security consulting, risk assessment, security detection and incidence response etc.

- Develop methodologies for security architecture standards and patterns and lead the security architecture governance function at an enterprise level.

Qualifications

- 12+ years of IT Security experience in security solutions consulting including defining requirements, developing solution alternatives and transforming the business requirements into specific systems, applications or process designs for large complex IT solutions

- A sound understanding of TCP/IP and networking concepts.

- Highly experienced at negotiating and collaborating with key project leaders to identify subject matter experts and resources necessary to complete the readiness of security architecture implementation.

- Solid and demonstrable comprehension of Information Security including malware, emerging threats, attacks, and vulnerability management.

- Experience with reviewing raw log files, data correlation, and analysis (i.e. firewall, network flow, IDS, system logs).

- Subject matter expert (SME) in one or multiple areas such as Windows, UNIX, mid-range, mainframe, firewalls, intrusion detection, threat detection analysis, and/or information risk management.

- Understanding of network design principles with and knowledge of the OSI model.

- Network, Security, or Platform certification(s) (S+, N+, MCSP, CNA).

- Experience assisting the resolution of customer escalations, incident handling, and response
