We are an early-stage start-up with a vision to impact education and the economy solving complex problems with simple solutions. Currently, we are bootstrapping with creating some wonderful business excellence solutions as SaaS to fulfill our vision of making an impact without having external funding from an angel or VC.

We are looking for a Chief Sales and Marketing Officer (with the potential to be a co-founder) based in Bangalore (currently work from home) to own and drive the Sales and Marketing. The right candidate would be someone who can design and own the Go-To market strategy and performance selling.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

- You will sell and sell. You are also the first person to get the market going which means you qualify leads and identify opportunities by doing the first level discovery call with the prospects, demo, and selling products to the prospective customers.

- You will define sales methodologies, mold our target audiences, and structure processes and reporting.

- Structure the marketing and sales funnels for optimal success.

- Closing deals yourself and coaching others is a key trait, you will be responsible for delivering this success to the business.

- Maintaining detailed records in CRM and your sales pipeline to develop strong forecasting capability.

- Oversee digital marketing performance monitoring and management.

- Build an ambitious hybrid sales & marketing team (part-time, intern, full-time, pay per lead, etc.).

- Provide feedback to the product team on product features and improvements.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE :

- You are among the people who are true entrepreneurs at heart! This is a real founder opportunity. You have a strong burning desire to start your own company and are willing to take all the sacrifices and risks it comes with. Otherwise: don't apply and look for a regular employee job.

- You are not afraid to work hands-on: product input, running marketing campaigns, doing B2B sales, doing financial calculations, talking to potential investors - get ready to do it all in the early stages of the venture!

- Proven record (3 years minimum) selling SaaS solutions. You must have excellent communication skills and be comfortable selling at C-level.

- Experience being a key player in growing a start-up/scale-up tech business from a sales contribution perspective is Vital.

- Experience achieving revenue targets in SaaS sales, most likely as an Account Exec, Sales Manager, Business Development Manager, Senior Sales, Enterprise Sales, or similar.

- Solve customer problems and provide feedback to the technical roadmap leading to product-market-fit and growth.

- You are a self-starter, organized, self-motivated, and ready to hustle every day (and night) and get things done.

- Good technical understanding and excellent presentation skills.
