Currently we are looking for a Sourcing Specialist - Footwear

Job description shared below :

- To develop product (70% Footwear, 20% Bags/accessories, 10% others) as per brief provided by internal customers/brands.

- To ensure that Product Quality and Production facility is as per Brands guidelines and expectations.

- To meet expectation on margin/landed cost saving & delivery performance targets.

- To provide product cost guidelines to internal customers on seasonal basis.

- Create and publishing of reports and tracking of Key Performance Indicators.

- Perform various Administrative tasks across multiple systems including recording costs, tracking all pre-development approvals (i.e. fit samples, lab dips and photo samples), calendar milestone timelines.

- Partnerning and collabrating cross functionally with design, product and buying team.

- Conduct Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) approach.

- Responsible for Costing, Negotiating, Sourcing Strategy and Production follow up.

- Capacity planning with vendors for faster turn around of deliveries, reduction of lead time and increase efficiency.

- Partnering with department heads and manufacturing to develop long term strategies across the full value chain and to proactively identify new vendors based on consumer requirement.

- Independently lead special projects from requirement gathering to execution.

- Analyze critical products and anticipate the challenges and find solutions.

Candidate should have the following skill set / experience :

- Strong interest in apparel manufacturing and operations.

- Have 6-7 years of experience in foot wear sourcing.

- Knowledge of sportswear footwear.

- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

- Computer literacy in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook and Word).
