Operations Head - D2C Business

We are looking for a competent individual to lead the entire Ops & SCM machinery for the D2C business @ cult.fit. It's a young business and we intend to 5x in the next 2 years. Hence evaluating the current systems & making changes to handle exponential growth will be a key project. The role comprises of the following (but not limited to):

Roles & responsibilities :

1. Supply chain planning

a. Working w/ the manufacturing team to plan for inventory, sales

b. Working w/ the procurement team and planning import of finished goods & parts

c. Building analytics & intelligence to avoid OOS or high inventory situations

d. Partnership w/ agencies for deliveries

2. Managing inventory

a. Integration of systems to manage inventory across warehouses, platforms.

b. Ensuring proper cataloguing

c. Building analytics to see demand trends, forecast future demand

d. Planning for sale events & off-season trends

3. Warehousing

a. Plan the warehouse network across India & integrate inbound, catalog, delivery systems facilitating movement of products to warehouse & from the warehouse to the end consumer

b. Ensuring QC checks during inward/outward & 0 pilferage

c. Managing a team of warehouse execs

4. Delivery network

a. Working with 3P partners to ensure deliveries happen within the set SLA

b. Planning for reverse logistics

5. Customer service

a. Managing a pan-India network for installation & service

b. Monitoring the key metrics & constantly improving the NPS

c. Managing the inbound/outbound customer support teams & processes

6. Liaising with internal departments:

a. with Product, tech - to automate systems & reduce manual dependencies and hence manage ops @ scale effectively & efficiently

b. with HR teams for various people related projects

c. with Finance & Legal team for compliance, P&L related tasks

d. with Sales & Marketing teams to plan inventory on a constant basis & to manage sales events gracefully

7. Owner of all the ops, supply chain metrics like delivery time, cost, inventory etc.

a. Run day-to-day ops & projects to improve KPIs

b. Building dashboards & giving visibility to various teams on what's going right and what could be improved

c. Building the strategy for upcoming quarters and initiating the design projects accordingly

Key Skills :

1. 6+ years of experience in the operations, supply chain domain

2. Ability to manage multiple different teams, drive multiple projects through them & at the same time be able to run key projects directly

3. Work with cross-functional teams to build the business together

4. Highly analytical, having the ability, good judgement & confidence to take informed calls will be important
