Vice President Sales
Role Summary :
A sales leader who is responsible for leading B2C edtech sales in US and Canada for Cuemath. This role requires a sales leader who believes that when you have a great product, a process driven rigorous sales process, and a motivated, skilled and customer focused team, magic happens.
Job Responsibilities :- Create a culture of performance, goal achievement, customer empathy and consultative selling.
- Develop plans and strategies for developing business and achieving the company's sales goals.
- Define sales processes that drive desired sales outcomes and identify improvements where and when required. Ensure process and system compliance.
- Define optimal sales force structure. Hire, develop and train sales team.
- Monitor customer, market and competitor activities. Identify emerging trends and customer segments. Keep the leadership team and other company functions updated on trends and opportunities in the markets served.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to establish marketing support, channel and partner programs.
- Manage the sales teams, day-to-day sales operations, and team to deliver robust growth.
- Set annual, quarterly, monthly sales goals and achieve them. Provide detailed forecast and reports as needed.
Skills & Experience :- 10-15 years of experience in B2C/ Direct/ Inside sales with some experience in selling to international customers.
- Minimum 7-8 years of team leadership experience in sales
- Has had outstanding sales success records in the past.
- Good understanding of input and output metrics and experience in driving them.
- Is hungry and ambitious.
- Doesn't take short cuts in chasing success.
- Has led customer focused sales teams.
- Is a task master with rigorous follow up
- A believer in sales process, not in individual brilliance.
- Makes decision with data.
- Has great interpersonal skills with excellent communication skills.
- Has a rigorous, process-oriented approach to problem solving.
Qualifications and Experience Required :- Minimum Qualifications Graduate/Post-Graduates from premier institutes, with prior experience in EdTech (IIT/NITs/ IIM/ISB/BITS/SPJain/JBIMS etc.)
- Experience 10-15 years of sales/ business experience with at least 7 years of experience in leading sales teams.
