Cuemath - Director - Business Finance

Position Overview:

We are looking for a trusted finance business partner to support the Business team. This position reports directly to the CFO, but is the primary business partner to the Business Leader.

The candidate must demonstrate independence, excellence and integrity in decision making and business judgment. A strong knowledge of information systems, financial planning, accounting, strategic planning, risk assessment and business development is required, preferably in a E-Commerce or software company. The right candidate for this role will demonstrate strong collaboration skills, financial aptitude, excellent business intuition, and the capability to work at multiple levels, including high-level strategy and day-to-day financial details.

Responsibilities:

- Partnering directly with the Business Team, INDIA/International territory sales/Ops as a member of his line management staff.

- Providing the INDIA & International territory sales/ops team weekly billings and ACV forecast.

- Analyzing business performance and provide financial insights and advices

- Providing the INDIA/International territory sales/ops team KPIs and metrics and collaborating with Sales/Ops Leads for consistency

- Assisting process and tool for team's pipeline analysis and management

- Supporting Channel Partner programs and creating partner targets

- Approving all deal discounts related to the sales/ops resources

- Providing deal support, in partnership with Deal Desk team in Sales Operations, to develop agreements and agreement proposals

- Leading the cross-functional team to close fiscal month/quarters.

- Assisting in Commission analysis on commission costs forecasting

- Assisting in formulating incentives plan, validation and analysis.

- Analysis and pre-validation of various schemes and discounts.

- Building Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and Quarterly Business Planning (QBPs), present EOQ finance decks to review performance and metrics

- Managing the Opex budget (headcount and variable) for the sales/ops team

- Playing the key role for compliance and fiduciary

Minimum Qualifications

- Bachelor in Accounting or Finance preferred; MBA or CA a plus

- Minimum 10+ years of relevant experience with finance or business analysis background

- Prior experience in a technology/software/SaaS company is a plus

- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

- Hands on experience with financial software (e.g. Business Objects, Qlikview, SAP BPC, etc)

- Articulate and concise with strong communication skills

- Ability to adapt to a complex and changing environment

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage tight deadlines

- Ambitious and ability to learn quickly

- Strong team player and leadership potential
