CTO/Tech Cofounder - SportsTech Startup - IIT/BITS/NIT

We are a stealth mode sport technology start-up set out to disrupt the sports industry in India. We are based out of Gurgaon with co-founders who have been change architects in their respective domains.

We are looking for an energetic techie to join our founding team.

The Team:

The founders are a fairly new team with good sense of how the business should pan out and have almost 10 years of experience between them and have worked in both India and abroad. The co founders have vast expertise both on tech and business side. They have worked with Tech Giants like Infosys Technologies, Syntel, TCS and Capgemini to name a few.

The Venture:

The product is a real time fantasy sports product centered primarily on the professional leagues played in India. We plan to launch the first version of the product by March 25th for a major sport league and gradually build on it for other leagues.

We are looking for a dynamic individual who will share our passion to build a world class product using supreme technology. Additionally, he should have:

- Analytical skills with strong problem-solving abilities

- Comfortable in fast-paced, high-growth start-up environment

- Excellent communication and presentation skills

- High attention to detail & strong verbal & written communication skills

- Visionary who can conceptualize and lead product development from a technical standpoint, build and manage a team as well as write code themselves

- Given the nature of the start-up business, willingness to muck in with everything

- Should have an excellent sense of humor

Key responsibilities:

- Core member of the founding team and lead on all the technical aspects of the venture

- Lead the development and delivery of technical road map taking into account the need to build or integrate products and platforms that adequately balance the need for speed to market, availability and differentiation

- End to end responsibility for the product from technology selection to architecture, design and delivery as per agreed timelines.

- Build and lead a team to deliver all tech aspects of the venture.

Qualifications:

Tech leader from a premier institute (IIT/NIT/BITS) with significant development experience

Experience:

- Superior design thinking with high bar for quality standards

- Tried their hands at front end development (HTML, CSS)

- Advanced level skills framework design and backend technologies (PHP, NodeJs, Java, MySQL, MongoDB, cloud programs and server tech

- Sound understanding of app development frameworks (iOS & Android)

- Should be able to build a strong team, guild and motivate them

- Previous responsibility for web and mobile platforms, communication platforms, data warehouses, billing and payment platforms, recommendation engines, experimentation platforms etc.

- Identify technology trends and evolving social behavior to enable venture success
