CTO   We are Antal International, a senior recruitment firm, currently hiring a CTO for a German MNC that is into Manufacturing of Chemicals located at Mysore.  Reporting:  - This role reports to Executive Vice President Technology / Research & Development.  Essential Attributes:  - At least 15-20 years’ experience in directly working in Plant Operations in a factory environment of which 5-10 years should have been in an International Organizational.  - At least 5 years’ experience in a Leadership Role managing multiple functions, with direct work experience in Production, Maintenance or Engineering and Supply Chain Management.  - Know-how of quality management systems, health, safety and environment regulations  - Know-how of process technology and chemical processes  - Good Communication, people management skills and cultural sensitivity.  - Experience within a complex global matrix organization is highly beneficial  - Good experience and knowledge of costs and P &Ls.  Job Description:  - Provide leadership for the Company as a member of the Leadership Team at India by developing and implementing the Company’s strategy in line with overall corporate objectives. This will be done in coordination with the Regional Managing Board Asia Pac.  - Oversee development of the Company’s annual operative plan, and implement strategies for achieving the Company’s production and financial goals in cooperation with the Regional Managing Board as well as the headquarters.   - Deliver products in accordance with quality standards and all quality systems, in time and in a cost efficient way. Focus on defined Key Performance Indicators as well as continuous improvement of standardized production methods and processes.  - Drive relocation of production from Europe to India continuously, localization initiatives on raw materials used, and new product development all to increase local value addition.  - Ensure efficient use and maintenance of current and future company property (assets, machines, other equipment) with continuous increase in productivity; develop and implement an investment strategy according to the overall strategic plan and in coordination with the Regional Managing Board as well as European headquarters functional organization.  - Assure flawless Supply Chain management keeping up high delivery performance for optimizing working capital by   - Assure the overall implementation of safety, security and environment standards according to local legislation, including the Code of Conduct.  - Provide goal-oriented leadership with all employees together with the Leadership Team. Lead, motivate, and organize the business with a strong focus on fostering cross-departmental cooperation and cooperation with European headquarters.  - Lead, motivate and develop employees to ensure long-term succession strength as well as teamwork, based on the Values and Guiding Principles. Ensure an overall company climate that is creating a performance rewarding culture.  - Manage labour relations of the company in a constructive and mutually respectful manner based on local legislation.  Education: Chemical Engineer
