CTO - Design & Development - Electric Vehicle Business

Our client has a history on being one of the pioneers in 2 wheeler industry .

We are looking for a CTO for their upcoming project in delivering EV two wheelers

Role :

- Lead a design and development team from concept phase to practical completion of a project.

- Manage the team to produce high quality solutions for projects, and be able to apply engineering knowledge and principles to devise innovative solutions to unique design problems.

- Provide leadership to the team, coordinating and overseeing their workloads, providing support to ensure that the team delivers, monitoring any issues, and ensuring timescales, KPIs and deadlines are met.

- Develop the team by focusing on individual performance and support requirements to achieve high standards.

- Work on multiple projects of complexity requiring forefront-of-field, innovative solutions.

- Act independently at the organisational level, being self-supervising, within guidance and expectations of divisional management.

Competencies :

- Define the complete vehicle requirements including the chassis, powertrain, battery, body controls, switches, lighting etc for electric 2W and 4W

- Define System, Hardware, Software, Functional and Safety requirement generation

- Knowledge of EMI/EMC compliances for EV

- Assess cost/benefit trade-off of technical solution and lead decision making process

- Identify areas for technological advancement and maintaining excellent engineering standards
