Position Title : Credit Analyst - India Job Purpose : Responsible for the day-to-day management of credit risks arising from exposures booked in India. To help Credit officer in Defining, approving and recommending through close liaison with business units, realistic and acceptable parameters of the Bank's risk appetite in terms of business activities and products, size and nature of clients, industry. Main Scope of Duties and Responsibilities :&nbsp; 1. To complete independent risk assessments and management process within the Bank, monitoring compliance with risk related requirements and limits imposed by regulators and the Bank. 2. To ensure that credit facilities are prepared and approved in compliance with established policies and exposure limits set by regulators and the Bank. 3. To help Credit officer in identifying, evaluating and recommending mitigation of risks associated with credit proposals/corporate finance deals and report risk exposures arising from business units to Head Office. 4. To provide support and advice to business units and other support units on credit related matters. 5. To perform any other duties as may be assigned by supervisors from time to time relating to credit risk. Key Competencies : 1. Ability to provide appropriate support in development and implementation of such strategies and objectives by identifying and mitigating external threats and risks . Strong technical knowledge of the credit systems and controls and credit risk management. 2. Possess strong financial and credit analysis skills. 3. Sound working knowledge of Indian Company &amp; Banking Law, RBI's Master Circulars, Credit Policies, Asset &amp; Liability Management Policies and Legal Process for recovery in India. 4. Effective management skills, ability to work as team member to achieve company goals and objectives. Experience: 1. Excellent academic background with MBA Finance (Premier Institute-Tier 1 or 2) or CA (Rank Holder Preferred). Additionally should be FRM-GARP Certified or other Risk professional course certified by IIBF/NIBM. 2. 3-5 Years of Experience in Credit Risk management for Corporate /Investment Banking environment in any leading bank.
