- To set up the Retails Assets Credit department of the bank in the location, recruit competent manpower, draw up processes, policies and manuals of the department. Provide customer service to both internal and external stakeholders. Ensure RBI and internal compliance matrixes are adhered to.
- Credit Risk appraisal & evaluation of Retails Assets Loan proposals. Subsequent recommendation to an appropriate level as per extant delegation.
- Evaluation & approval of tranche disbursements.
- Mentoring & guiding the team whenever necessary and problem-solving especially w.r.t the structuring & policy aspects.
- Monitoring and periodic review of portfolio & supervising the overall Risk & Credit checks/controls. Tracking of assets quality reviews and ensuring that all the controls are in place.
- Ensuring compliance for the purpose of post-disbursement monitoring. Monitoring of cost / Cash Flow / Budgets, Escrow monitoring & loan covenants. Comparison and reporting (findings) in line with projections.
Team management :
- Manage the recruiting, objectives setting, coaching and performance monitoring of the team
- Conducting periodic performance Reviews with the credit team and taking course corrections when required
- Establish credit reporting mechanisms and following the reporting formats given from time to time
- Persons who have handled credit role and are aware of RBI policy and guidelines.
- Good analytical skills. Is able to handle systems and software with ease. Ability to network with various stakeholders internally and externally.
- Flexibility to work extended hours and holidays to meet both internal and external customer turnaround times
Relationship management :
- To create an excellent relationship with all stakeholders in the two-wheeler and LAP business
- To coordinate with sales to achieve targets and ensure TAT or SLAs are met.
- Ensuring approval and disbursement TAT are followed location & site visits whenever required and evaluate the quality and adherence to the policy norms

Customer Management :
- Responsible for Audit queries
- Liaison with internal & external auditors, supervision of day-to-day operations for a given portfolio, interaction with commercial branch managers etc.
- Liaising with Legal & Compliance, Risk Control & clients to resolve various disbursement related issues
