Vice President - Operations (Past MR industry exp is a Must)
Position Summary :
- Cross-Tab has an immediate opening for an individual to be the Lead for its offices Globally . This individual will be part of Cross-Tab and based in Mumbai.
- We seek an experienced, entrepreneurial individual who has a strong background and deep experience in seeking new research opportunities, leading and executing MR Projects, and is an excellent client relationship manager.
- The successful candidate will develop and manage communications research projects for a diverse range of clients that include public and private companies of all sizes across different industry sectors, not for profit organizations, and associations.
Specific Responsibilities :
- Effectively manage a robust and well defined performance management process for all employees ensuring constant delivery against SLAs and KPIs.
- Effectively lead and manage operations unit that supports the objectives of the organisation.
- Effectively managing the day to day delivery and ongoing processes improvement objectives that support client service, quality and efficiency targets.
- Drive the company culture towards a high performing business with peers and associates.
- Build and maintain highly effective relationships with internal and external clients.
- Identifying and implementing opportunities for aggressive business process improvements that result in a better client experience and operational efficiency.
- Ensure high employee retention, high levels of engagement and measurable and continuous improvements in employee satisfaction. Be the role model and champion for a high performance culture within the team.
- Ensure effective capacity allocation and utilization of resources across the team in order to maximize effectiveness and efficiency skills

Required Knowledge, Skills And Abilities :
- Must possess strong personnel management and development skills
- Team building and organizational management
- Strong conceptual, analytic and problem solving skills
- Budgeting, financial planning, and P&L management
- Knowledge of marketing research methodologies
- Strong project management skills
- Excellent written and presentation skills
- Must have ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Must be a team player and be able to effectively interact with staff at all levels of the company
- Ability to engage, influence and lead people at all levels within the organization
- Ability to establish credibility in front of senior management Solid understanding of market research, research operations, and project management
- Must be willing and able to mentor associates
Education and Experience :
- B.S./B.A in relevant field of study required
- Advanced degree (e.g., MBA, MS, MPH) preferred.
- Five plus years of market research in any field
- Five-seven years of personnel management and organizational management experience required; experience in consulting or service organization a plus
- Three years of demonstrated success in P&L management including budgeting, tracking, and resource allocations to optimize profit
- In-depth knowledge and of market research
- Five years of Sr. level project management and/or process improvement
