Key Responsibilities:
Network & KPI Management:
- Prepare strategy to efficiently handle spares delivery, product pick-up & drop facilities at National level for customer service operations.
- Plan, create and develop Logistics network with team of Regional Executives at Local/Regional/National level by engaging with Logistics Partners to meet strategic goals.
- Put together and lead 3PL tie-ups to augment internal logistics capacity. Select carriers and negotiate contracts and rates.
- Map customer journeys and make Logistics interventions at various touchpoints through discussions with internal teams, external consultants, agencies and subject matter experts to create roadmaps for best in class experience.
- Plan, Implement and oversee the effective packaging, storage, material handling, transportation, distribution processing, and information processing from the point of origin until the final destination.
- Review SLAs for Logistics Partners and take corrective actions to achieve, enhance results.
- Ensure TAT, quality, documentation, system hygiene is maintained at all times.
- Ensure escalations resolution within 24 hours, provide guidance and solution till closure.
- Analyse problems, solve as well as develop actions or recommendations to assure sustainable elimination and avoidance.
- Monitor & evaluate pick- drop deliveries, route plan of shipments. Recommend optimal transport modes, routes or frequency.
- Benchmark and track standard metrics for Logistics network and ensure Croma brand experience is enhanced continuously to fulfil business requirements.
Process Compliance:
- Develop SOPs for Logistics operations & tracking mechanism for each type of issue and its resolution matrix.
- Ensure process adherence & compliance. Perform audits and take corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with policies, regulations, customs regulations, legal, health and safety requirements.
- In case of Transit damage, lost items, etc. ensure timely action and solution - E.g. claim raise and settlement with Insurance Company.
People:
- Mentor & Coach team on various Operational fronts
- Training & Development - Ensure logistics workforce is trained & certified to deliver customer experience along with proper information capture and documentation.
- Capacity - Ensure correct/sufficient manpower availability at each city/region to fulfil the orders as per defined TAT.
- Monitor and Improve Quality of Services - improve productivity, TAT, other Logistics parameters at Local/Regional/National levels.
- Build, Retain and Nurture mutually beneficial long term relationships with Logistics Partners.
- Budget Management & Cost Control:
- Prepare effective budgets, planning and cost/resource optimisation in each region
- Ensure and check Company financial metrics (including claims & repeats) is managed with maximum efficiency and profitability and ROI.
- Ensure payables & receivables reconciliation and settlement for each Logistics partner.
- Ensure prevention from frauds, wrong data capture, manipulations through audits mechanism with team by continuous mentoring to team.
- Market intelligence to enhance the customer experience:
- Take action on market intelligence and trends/feedback provided by the team based on the Market as well as captured Customer inputs.
- Ensure guidance/decisions on processes, planning, training and quality as applicable to keep everything in alignment with Croma's service standards.
