Lead: Strategy (Own Brand)

Reporting to : Chief Business Officer - Own Brand

- The Lead of own Brand Strategy will help create the strategy for Own Brand business. This role will be responsible for bringing outside in perspective, benchmark & study best practices in the industry for private label brands

- The person will create a strategy to build strong Own brand Portfolio, analyze market trends & draw up a comprehensive roadmap for next 3 / 5 years.

- S/he will need to translate the strategy into key initiatives, identify the objectives for the initiatives and closely monitor execution.

- S/he will need to identify roadblocks and accelerators and ensure that the strategy is executed as per plan.

Skills & competencies :

- Overall experience of 8 to 10 years and from a Tier 1/2 business school

- Experience in product management or retail and a 360 degree understanding how own brands work - Consulting background is a plus

- Keen business acumen to identify and understand the key levers for driving business growth

- Understanding of the interplay between various operating functions and good problem solving skills

- Excellent organizational and communication skills

- Attention to detail and strong focus on delivering projects

- Good Analytical & presentation skills
