AVP - Business Development (GT)
Responsibilities :
Business :
- Responsible for sales from small-medium businesses (Retail, HoReCa, food processing units etc.) in the city.
- Responsible for the overall sales growth in the region and planning for the same, this includes new account acquisition and managing customer's relationships to minimize churn.
- Identify trends and understand market needs. Exploring different channels and avenues for growth.
- Responsible to driving metrics like no.of orders per retailers, average order value, retailer rejection etc.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by checking on complaints, commitments made by team members etc.
People :
- Responsible for leading a team of more than 100 managers and sales executives as well as takes ownership of the entire process.
- Build a sustainable talent pipeline in line with workforce planning.
- Foster high potential talent development.
- Manage team performance and motivation in a highly competitive market
Collaboration and Coaching :
- Collaborate with other functions to achieve business objectives.
- Train sales team on products, trade, processes and customer management.
- Responsible for providing market feedback to the management and help drive decision making.
