Credit limits Monitoring team

CRMO limits team is a regional cross functional team. Team is responsible for monitoring of credit limits set for counterparties in accordance with the Credit Limit Management policy. Team reviews & provides sign off on a daily basis on new limit exceptions and breaches published through the Credit Systems & reports genuine breaches to the management

Position Specifications

Experience : Overall 5 - 7 years

Qualification : Post Graduates from tier 2 / 3 institutes

Role & Responsibilities of the position in brief:

Liaising with traders and sales force, credit analysts, support departments and offices globally on credit requests and trade enquiries

Partner with Information Technology to streamline, automate & develop new tools to help in Process improvement

Preparing MIS & reporting the same to management/team lead

Capturing operational risks in current processes & reporting the same for purposes of the RCSA

Credit limits set up

Monitoring and administration of risk limits and resolution of limit excesses

Logging of all limit breaches & escalation to the management

Key Skills:

Candidates will ideally come from a credit or market risk middle office environment

Have an understanding of the various credit metrics OR will have had exposure to trade life cycle management and process in an Ops/Finance function

Product awareness / knowledge of debt / equity trading processes and familiarity across all trading products

Understanding of the credit limits process and function

Familiarity with MS Office applications
