The Opportunity:

- We are looking for a Natural Storyteller, a self-motivated and talented Manager to own the Brand Communications and PR responsibilities at our communications department, which works under the aegis of the Department of People & Culture. The ideal candidate will be a Digital Content Strategist and an excellent communicator with brilliant presentation and organizational skills. In this position, you will oversee building and owning the StoryBrand narrative for both Employer and Corporate Branding Communications, producing high-quality content that engages both Employees and Customers to drive brand recognition and reputation. As Head of PR, you will work especially closely with external investors and partners, the finance department, HR departments, and other key business partners in developing and executing initiatives that address the business's Employer and Corporate Brand Position. You will also serve as one of the key media contacts and representatives for the business. We believe that Happy Employees ensure Happy Customers. We expect this function to ensure that we recognize, record, and broadcast their Happy Stories to the world.


What would you do?

- Continuously audit, measure, and improve the StoryBrand in all public facing Communication Channels and properties, Digital and Offline

- It is your responsibility to oversee the creation of the business's content, for example, newsletter, blogs, social influencers, annual reports, and other marketing collateral materials

- In addition to this, the Head of PR oversees all online web content and communications as well as social media interactions.

- The reason for this is to ensure that all content put out by the business, both in print and online, is edited to conform to the business's overall values and messages

- You will create or recommend the creation of informative and interesting press releases, press kits, newsletters, and related marketing materials that drive Corporate Brand Soft power

- Develop and implement effective communication strategies that track, measure, record and broadcast our Customer-First

- Culture viz seamless Customer Experiences, loyalty programs, referrals, testimonials, case studies, thought leadership,

- Analyst Relations and Advocacy, thus attracting prospects to want to buy our products & services

- Plan and manage the design, content, and production of all communications & designs that foster amazing Employee

- Experiences and in turn attract brilliant new talent to join the workforce

- Your main duties will also include creating informative content, press releases, articles, and media opportunities to share our company's culture, brand attributes, passion for excellence, IP, penchant for new tech adoption, and services.

- Create communication and broadcast strategies for new product launches, thought leadership events, CSR activities and brand promotions.

- As Head of PR, you're also responsible for the creation and promotion of a departmental culture that promotes integrity, high performance, continuous improvement, and commitment to quality throughout the department.

- You will lead the development, implementation, and integration of strategic communications plans that advance the business's brand identity in the market. The Head of PR will also play the role of broadening awareness of these strategies and increase visibility of PR programs and priorities within the organization and to key stakeholders.

- You will also play an active part in the co-creation of marketing strategies in conjunction with the marketing team in order to enable the cultivation and enhancement of strong and meaningful relationships with the target audience, external partners, and key media outlets, which favorably positions the business/product in the market.

- As the head of all internal and external relations in the business, the Head of PR researches and identifies emerging issues and challenges that are facing the business or product.

- You will further partner with management teams throughout the business for the purpose of formulation and execution of strategies, solutions, and opportunities pertinent to those issues.

- You will act as the business/product's spokesperson and lead point person in conventional media interactions, such as newspaper interviews, always ensuring a positive portrayal of the business.

- Exercise your better judgment in prioritizing media opportunities, making necessary coordination with appropriate persons in organizing and preparing presentations, speeches, talking points, and other external media relations materials.

- Prepare detailed media activity reports.

- Respond to communication-related issues in a timely manner.

Desired Skills:

- Master's degree in Communications, Business Administration, Journalism, International Relations, Public Relations, or relevant fields.

- A minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role working especially in the IT/ Software Industries (B2B experience will be an added advantage)

- Proven experience creating targeted content is advantageous.

- Strong knowledge of communication practices and techniques.

- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

- Must be able to multitask and work well under pressure.

- Excellent organizational and leadership abilities
