Designation - Senior Research Analyst/ Lead Analyst

Job responsibilities :

The analyst would provide support to a Buy-side client by undertaking the following activities independently for Private Debt coverage :

- Prepare financial models on private companies based on historical information and other available industry-specific operating metrics

- Calculate credit ratios, FCF, capital structure and perform capital structure analysis

- Perform covenant analysis and evaluate companies using various financial valuation methods

- Quickly develop understanding of the operating and financial metrics relevant for any new sector in coverage

- Establish and maintain consistent standards and processes in credit modeling

- Update the financial models after each earnings roll out or other similar corporate action

- Experience in private debt/distressed debt/recovery analysis/ will be an added advantage

Skills :

- Background in financial modeling and credit research

- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with ability to quickly turn around credit models

- Good communication skills, written and verbal

- Attention to detail

- Should be capable of multi-tasking and handling projects with tight deadlines

Experience : 2-8 years in financial modeling (credit domain preferred)

Location : Mumbai/Pune/Gurgaon
