Opportunity with Crisil Job Title : Equity Research Analyst Department : GR&amp;A-FR Location : Mumbai/ Chennai Role : - Work on an equity sector role covering EU Paper &amp; Packaging, supporting the sell side analysts in a large investment bank - Build financial models including forecasts and valuation - Update and restructure models for earnings and events such as corporate actions &amp; M&amp;A - End-to-End Earnings support - preview, model updates incl. forecast changes, earnings review report - Write equity research reports - Contribute to various publications including thematic notes, initiations and earning notes - Build and update Sector databases and Valuation tables in Excel - Provide data and analysis based on various client requests - Performing data search and aggregation of selected industries and covered companies for further analysis - Create marketing presentations and update company specific presentations Candidate Profile : - 2-4 years- experience in equity research, preferable Paper &amp; Packaging / Materials - Good financial modelling skills. Should be able to independently handle models - Good report writing skills. Should be able to contribute to writing company reports - Strong accounting and finance knowledge - Strong communication skills (oral/written) with proven ability to interact with global clients - Should have good MS Excel skills - Working knowledge of Bloomberg, DataStream/Eikon - High level of attention to detail and accuracy - Ability to take complete ownership of work done - Macro/VBA skills is a plus Essential Qualifications : - MBA (Finance), CA, CFA (US), CFA (Indian) Preferred Qualifications : - Prior experience in Equity Research in Paper &amp; Packaging industry
