Crisil - Research Analyst/Sr Research Analyst - Hedge Funds

Job Duties:

- Daily risk monitoring and reporting for hedge funds on UCITS compliance

- Identifying active and passive breaches in all the UCITS funds and monitoring the breach resolution on a daily basis

- Implement policies and procedures compiling to the changes in existing regulations in UCITS fund management industry

- Analyze the performance and track record for the new funds for on boarding in the fund's platform

- Extensive interaction with fund managers and platform monitoring team for queries and reports

- Monthly factsheet preparation for the funds with performance numbers, concentration analysis and ratios

- Monthly performance and portfolio reporting to fund managers

- Stress testing, Var calculation and scenario analysis of the portfolios and analytical explanation of the outcomes

- Monitoring of trader limits, fund limits, stop losses, scenarios, etc in funds

- Keep up to date on UCITS regulations and guidelines

- Guide the team in risk management activities and build strong process controls

- Work with a high degree of independence on deliverables

Qualification:

MBA - Finance from a reputed institute, CFA FRM designation would be an added advantage.

Skills required:

- Excellent understanding of equities, derivatives product knowledge, e.g., OTC and listed options, swaps etc.

- Experience in fund risk management and/or other financial product risk management.

- A strong understanding of risk management processes, terminology, methodologies and practices

- Knowledge of VBA and UCITS regulations in hedge fund industry would be advantageous

- Exceptional analytical skills, good communication and presentation skills with the ability to present high level risk findings to senior management
