Position: Research analyst or Senior Research analyst

Work profile

- Providing fair valuation services to corporates, Insurance Cos under Indian accounting standards (Ind AS)

- Valuations of various Indian debt instruments including corporate bonds, money market instruments, government securities, state development loans, Treasury bills etc

- Valuation of various derivative instruments such as interest rate and currency swaps, etc

- Valuation of instruments such as preference shares, loans & advances, etc & other instruments requiring fair valuation or similar treatment under Ind AS/IFRS.

- Involved in criteria & valuation approach development for valuation of new instruments

- Preparation of valuation models using excel

- Preparation of ad-hoc analytical report for the purpose of senior management and/or for external agencies

- Meeting with corporate clients, regulatory bodies etc. making presentations & assisting business development in pre-sales and post-sales support.

Candidate Profile:

- Practical knowledge of Ind AS 109, Ind AS 107, Ind AS 113, Ind AS 101 or its IFRS equivalent.

- Experience in implementing IFRS or Ind AS for corporates or foreign entities preferably from a Big 4 accounting firm or a CA firm.

- Analytical, fixed income market, bond valuations, written and oral communication

Qualifications: Chartered Accountant (CA) preferable with 2-4 years of work experience
