Crisil - Research Analyst/Senior Research Analyst

Responsibilities:

- Assist in determining the project scope, functional design, and process flows on FINMA, MIFID II regulatory change projects.

- The role will report to the work-stream leads. The role is to help

- Determine the functional delivery roadmap

- Assist with the resolution of analysis related risks and issues

- The role will also assist with the IT teams to convert these into technical specifications for implementation of the services as well as getting involved in the System and User testing

- Ensure the delivery of business analysis artifacts (specifications, traceability matrix etc.) from the phase up to the post production warranty phase.

- Analyze and leverage the data to provide input for various Compliance / Regulatory systems.

Other responsibilities involve:

- Working closely with other work-stream stakeholders as well as the Architecture team to share knowledge and standardize the process

- Identifying and escalating design issues and risks

- Devise test objectives, test strategies and test plans.

- Lead, guide and monitor the analysis, design, implementation and execution of the test cases, test procedures and test suites.

- Schedule the tests for execution and then monitor, measure, control and report on the test progress and the test results, adapting the test plan and compensating as needed to adjust to evolving business requirements.

- Consult with IT BA- s, Testers and developers for testing and defect resolution

Skill Sets:

- Good competency in business requirements gathering, solution design, planning, and implementation preferably in large scale global programs (preferably from an Investment Bank or consultancy background)

- Familiarity with IB products from Exchange-traded to OTC derivatives and Structured Products, spanning asset-classes like Equity, FX, Interest-rate, Commodity and Credit.

- Knowledge of Banking Regulations, Front and Middle Office trade operations, end-to-end trade lifecycle.

- In-depth understanding of FINMA and MIFID II regulation compliance, Regulatory Risk, control and Governance is must.

- Strong skills in Excel & VBA and good robotics experience will be a plus

- Conversant with SQL, HP ALM, advanced Excel, XML.

- Understanding of Banking operations, Trade Management systems, and Risk Management systems will be good to have

- Good analytical and problem solving skills along with good verbal and written communication skills

- Ability to work with colleagues across global locations remotely

- The candidate should be process oriented, have attention to detail, and have good time management skills
