Crisil - Quantitative Analyst

Responsibilities :

- As a part of Asia Equity Quants team, you will analyze large data sets and create exhibits (charts, tables etc.) that can be used to present the results of analysis (Python/SAS/Excel) for research papers published by the team

- Create and maintain databases using data from different sources

- Provide seamless support on ad hoc data and analytics related requests

- Identify and exploit new patterns in data using various techniques like machine learning

- Conduct analysis, draw insights and present findings to clients

Skillsets required :

- Good Programming skills: Python/SAS

- Data manipulation-financial engineering using python packages like pandas, NumPy Bloomberg and/or FactSet experience is a plus

- Basic investment industry knowledge is desirable

- Advanced Excel skills and VBA, including the ability to work with large and complex databases

- Excellent attention to detail

- Proactive, organized, and able to work with various teams

- Possess broad understanding of data research, collection, and aggregation

- Strong communication skills with proven ability to interact with global clients

- Good problem-solving skills and should be able to resolve issues with little input

- Producing well-formatted exhibits like charts and tables, based on the results of analysis, in an efficient and automated manner

Educational Qualification : Graduate / PG degree in Engineering / Economics / Analytics / Statistics + MBA / CFA L1
