Role and responsibilities: - Formulate credit frameworks / models and rating criteria on first principle basis, using data analytics, financial and statistical tools - Understand credit risk assessment and nuances of various sectors - External &amp; internal interface - Seek feedback from market participants and also continuously interact with analysts and operating team - Test the proposed credit criteria with data and present the findings in criteria committee comprising senior members - Address queries form regulators such as RBI and SEBI - Carry out market outreach activities based on studies conducted Qualifications and skillset required: - Graduation in a quantitative discipline (eg. statistics, mathematics), and MBA thereafter preferable - At least 5 years of experience in data analytics/ data science - Also experience in developing models, handing projects and team handling - Proficiency in SQL, R / Python - Excellent quantitative modelling, statistical analysis skills and knowledge of statistical tools. - Affinity for digging through data to identify trends, issues - Should have an understanding of credit analysis and financial concepts - Strong communication skills and ability to interact with senior management - Ability to work with different credit teams and projects with tight deadlines Rama Mishra
