CRISIL - Project Manager - Project and change


Key Responsibilities:

- Lead change initiatives that are governed by mandates from regional regulators

- Engage with Project lead & Subject Matter Experts to gather requirements.

- Define project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility. Work closely with finance functions to understand their requirements, quantify the benefits (financial, control or regulatory) and agree implementation approach

- Accountable for execution of aforesaid initiatives - define project plans, assemble resources, manage implementation activities, and develop all processes associated with program rollout and ongoing support.

- Manage multiple stakeholders and have focused and quality interactions view to drive decisions and mitigate project risks.

- Pre-empt and manage risks that can impact the project KPIs, scope, budget or timelines

- Demonstrate resilience and effectively manage ambiguity related to the projects

- Ensure resource availability and allocation. Develop detailed project plans to monitor and track progress. Flag deviations immediately and identify solutions to mitigate the risks

- Deliver projects as per the agreed frameworks (Agile) and governance model

Postgraduate qualification as well 8+ years of relevant post qualification experience with a strong background in change management in bank or financial services industry

To be successful in this role, you should have proven experience in change management in banking or financial serviced industry.

You should also:

- Understand regulatory expectations for financial institutions with regards data management

- Familiar with the tools and methodology needed for successful quality control for data

- Business Intelligence tool experience, for example Informatica, Alteryx and PowerBI

- Be analytical and have demonstrated experience in effective problem solving

- Have both a strong desire to work with business and technology teams, plus have a proven ability to work across all levels of stakeholders and build networks

- Excellent written and oral communication skills, including listening and interpersonal skills.

- Demonstrate strong relationship building skills with finance teams and senior management regarding anticipated issues and competing and changing priorities.

- Have an organised and focussed work ethic

- Logical and efficient, with keen attention to detail

- Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment

- Finance and/or product knowledge of financial instruments is preferred.

Additional Skills : 

- Strong analytical skills and be able to interpret data

- Familiar with Financial Management disciplines in a large/complex organization

- Possess a background / understanding of risks and controls

- Demonstrated ability to motivate, influence and gain commitment at all levels of the organization

- Strong facilitation, oral and written communication skills. Effective presentation skills

- Ability to build strong relationship and influence clients and stakeholders.

- Can do attitude, with a proven record of delivering project outcomes with good stakeholder feedback

- Be a self- starter who can work well both independently with minimal supervision
