Manager/Lead analyst - FI/HY Credit Research - Mumbai/Pune (6-10 yrs)

Roles & responsibilities :

- Prior experience of client management and leading teams of offshore research analyst working with investment management firms would be an added advantage

- Responsible for all day-to-day operations of the account. Managing a team of offshore research analysts supporting a marquee private debt asset management firm

- Provide analytical leadership on deliverables for buy-side credit firms such as research reports, financial modelling, responding to corporate events, marketing decks, etc.

- Responsibilities : Client, team and project management.

- Client responsibilities will include interacting with client management team for all operational activities, providing solutions to client, and sharing best practices

- Team & Account management would include, but not limited to, service delivery, staffing, talent retention, training & development of the team, coaching, sharing of best practices, providing feedback, appraisal management, managing aspirations, etc.

- Undertake regular liaison with client management and analyst teams to gauge feedback and satisfaction

- Supporting thought leadership and content building exercises in investment research areas.

Skills :

- Strong understanding of the off shoring business

- Deep understanding of credit research and the support extended to buy-side firms

- Working experience in private equity/debt fund structures

- Understanding of sourcing, structuring, and underwriting credit investments for diverse set of industries

- Understanding of primary transactions across performing/high yield/distressed space

- Knowledge on senior/mezzanine debt, leverage finance, distressed situations, structured derivatives and capital market issuances

- Has worked in M&A, Big 4 accounting firm, or transaction advisory services

- Strong Client management skills. Should have demonstrated very high client focus with a demonstrated ability to build strong business relationships with client management members.

- Strong Project management skills. Should have managed complex projects end to end

- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills. Should have demonstrated experience managing teams

- Good Multi-tasking skills. Ability to quickly assimilate & comprehend information and deliver within strict deadlines

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Experience of working in a multi-cultural and global environment

- Capable of working in a dynamic & rapidly changing environment. Should have the ability to manage change.

Experience : Experience of 6-10 years or more in credit analysis of companies (both public and private)

Location : Mumbai and Pune
