Job Title: Senior Research Analyst

KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

- Working on an equity sector role covering General and Food Retail sector, supporting the sell side analysts in a large investment bank

- Build and maintain financial models

- Build and update sector databases and valuation tables in excel

- Earnings support - preview, model updates incl. forecast changes

- Provide data and analysis based on various client requests

- Performing data search and aggregation of selected industries and covered companies for further analysis

- Create marketing presentations and update company specific presentations

- Be able to write equity research reports

- Own daily deliverables - newsflow, valuation compsheets, etc.

CANDIDATE PROFILE :

- 2-5 years- experience in equity research

- Good financial modelling skills. Should be able to independently handle models

- Good report writing skills. Should be able to contribute to writing company reports

- Strong accounting and finance knowledge

- Strong communication skills (oral/written) with proven ability to interact with global clients

- Should have good MS Excel skills

- Working knowledge of Bloomberg, DataStream/Eikon

- High level of attention to detail and accuracy

- Ability to take complete ownership of work done

- Macro/VBA skills is a plus

Essential Qualifications

- MBA (Finance), CA, CFA (US), CFA (Indian)

Preferred Qualifications :

Prior experience in Equity Research in Technology sector
