- Editing goes beyond the mundane task of ensuring language hygiene, and sprucing up of reports - to ensuring that the edited documents convey the intended messages - accurately, briefly, and clearly.

- Understanding, proof-reading, rewriting and condensing the reports after frequent interactions with analysts.

- Ensuring that the edited reports meet the requirements of flow, logic, and consistency.

- Process Adherence

- Ensuring that the quality of the report is maintained on all counts, in keeping with the in-house style guide.

- Commitment to meeting demanding specifications regarding quality and timeliness.

- People Development

- Training the employees on the basics of business communication & analytical writing

Experience:

3-7 years of relevant experience in financial editing

Knowledge / Skills

- Excellent oral and written communication skills

- Attention to detail

- Keen grasp of financial jargons

- Willingness to meet stringent deadlines, and share workloads

- Open to new ideas and initiatives

- Ability to manage performance under stringent timelines

- Ability to train people
