Crisil - Data Analyst - Python & SQL

We are looking for Data Analyst with experience in Python & big databases. Please refer below JD-

Job Responsibilities:

- Developing/Maintaining data driven analytical methodologies targeted to produce robust and consistent corporate performance metrics

- Collaborating with the analysts and/or clients to identify their needs in order to create new business opportunities

- Data analysis and the regular production of data driven custom reports and syndicated research products.

- In addition to the analysis and production responsibilities, will leverage their deep understanding of best practices in data science and the specific sector (consumer sector) to innovate and improve all aspects of the research function.

Key functional responsibilities:

- Identifying new analytical opportunities for market research, performing analysis and developing data-driven reports

- Development of "best fit" analysis methodologies

- Development and deployment of statistical models for estimation and prediction of corporate performance

- Performing ad hoc analyses in response to client requests

- Support the sales process by developing analyses for sales pitches and press releases

Qualifications/Required Skills:

- Proficiency in SQL or Databricks

- Proficiency in Python

- Proficiency in BI tools such as Tableau

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products - Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

- Proficiency in Spark would be a plus

- Experience in working with large amounts of data and in developing actionable intelligence from the analysis

- Basic understanding of the financial markets and their implications on corporate performances
