Crisil - Credit Analyst - Distressed Debt/Leveraged Loan

- Crisil GR&A invites application for Credit Analysts with experience in Distressed debt / leveraged loans.

Responsibilities :

- Work with a team of Portfolio Managers/ Senior Analysts covering Leveraged Loans/Distressed Debt

- Preparing credit notes based on fundamental analysis for a set of assigned credits/companies

- Preparing credit models including projections, peer analysis, relative value analysis, and calculations of key credit quality determinants

- Perform recovery analysis, scenario analysis and covenant analysis, essential for analysing Leveraged Loans/Distressed credits

- Regular surveillance of assigned portfolio by proactively tracking the company events, peer group and other industry information sources

- Engage with client teams proactively and suggest new ideas to enhance client engagement

- Establish and maintain consistent standards and processes in credit analysis through interaction with sector specialists and senior analysts

Education : MBA/CA/US CFA with around 5+ years of experience

Certifications : MBA/CA/US CFA

Core Skills : At least 5 years of experience in the Leveraged Loans/Distressed Debt space

- Financial modeling & Report writing (Credit Notes) experience

- Excellent understanding of financial statements and accounting standards

- Good understanding of the Leveraged Loans/Distressed/HY/ Investment Grade credit market

- Experience in delivery of structured solutions to clients

- Understanding of the industry dynamics
