Job Title: Business Marketing Manager

Reports to: Associate Director, Business Marketing

Job Purpose :

The business marketing manager will identify, implement and evaluate marketing plans and strategy, based on business objectives and market needs for specific businesses within CRISIL. Our business marketing goal is to elevate and enhance CRISIL's thought leadership position in the market, deepen stakeholder engagement and generate demand effectively.

Job Description :

Promoting Franchise & Thought-leadership

- Plan and deliver on a mix of marketing channels - event management, webinars, lead generation campaigns, content marketing etc.to create awareness, deepen engagement and establish CRISIL's thought leadership in the respective businesses.

- Maintain strategic market & competitive intelligence - Continuously gain insights into customer behavior, untapped opportunities and user personas

- Keep senior management abreast with latest developments pertaining to market, competition, banks, regulators, policy makers and trade bodies

- Maintain timely detailed MIS, reports and dashboards of activities

Demand Generation

- Develop a mix of online and offline strategies and manage the marketing programs that drive demand for respective businesses

- Develop product messaging that differentiate CRISIL's solutions from others in the market

- Build suitable marketing alliances with non-conflict third parties and industry bodies to enhance lead generation as well as franchise agenda of the businesses

- Initiate, conduct and analyse market research to capture customer feedback, current market conditions/market requirements for existing and proposed business solutions

Team Management:

- Lead and guide team members to deliver high impact outcomes and continue to increase visibility of the CRISIL brand amongst influencers and stake-holders

Experience & Expertise :

- Professional qualification: MBA (Finance / Marketing)

- Experience of 8+ years of relevant experience in strategic alliances/ product marketing in India and preferably also global markets.

- Proven experience as a Product Marketing Manager, Marketing manager or similar role

- Must have a deep understanding of the financial sector; prior experience with banking and financial institutions will be an advantage

- Background in lead generation campaigns and digital/new age marketing is a plus

- Must possess exemplary interpersonal, verbal and written communication and presentation skills as well as relationship building and networking skills

- Be highly motivated, able to act independently, and possess strong leadership and process management skills

- Should possess an analytical mind and strong quantitative skills
