We are looking for a young & astute P&L leader for one of our newer services.

Would you like to function as a BU Head managing the start up P&L responsibilities to help grow our newest business initiative. In the process you are expected to learn from the existing model, from authors of different nationalities about scope of business in the Publication Support domain and increase the business pie.

This service is a new launch covering help to authors and publishers select journals in which they can publish their papers, preparing their manuscripts for submission, and helping them complete the journal submission process. We also serve as a research STM guide to authors and assist them in their endeavor to get their papers published.

Job Description :

- Complete accountability and ownership for maintaining a healthy P&L.

- Developing market penetration and customer acquisition plans.

- Communicating with authors via email to understand their requirements

- Ensuring strong processes are put in place for timeliness and quality benchmark of output.

- Multitasking and ensuring smooth client coordination

Desired Candidate Profile :

- BE + MBA (PhD would be an advantage)

- Background of sales and marketing; handling small or midsize P&L responsibility

Essentials :

- Excellent communication skills (including written)

- Strong work ethic (adherence to client requirements essential!)

- Good time & people management skills; strong deadline focus Integrity, drive, and a strong desire to learn and grow

- Ability to multitask
