CredRight - Regional Credit Manager

A new age NBFC based out of Hyderabad is seeking to hire a Regional Credit Manager for Hyderabad location. If you have any familiarity and experience with Credit and Operations in any bank or Financial Institution and are looking for an accelerated career growth, this is the position for you!

The Regional Credit Manager will be based out of our Head Office in Hyderabad and will be heading a team of Credit & Operations Officers. He/ She will be responsible for taking sound lending decisions based on available information and interactions with the applicants. Manage credit quality & control delinquencies, frauds, Motivate & develop credit resources, Credit underwriting & File processing.

Job Description

- Manage a Team of 15-20 Credit & Operations Officers based out of the Hyderabad Office to ensure better productivity and quality.

- Supporting the Team in credit rating evaluation and underwriting processes of new business loan products.

- Mentor team for managing pre-sanction diligence and post sanction monitoring of accounts

- Train the team of Credit & Operations Officers, provide them guidance in day to day activities and monitor loan origination malpractices and frauds.

- Recruit, train & build a high-performing field Underwriting Team for ensuring the adherence of credit policies and processes.

- Verify the Business Loan underwriting process; loan appraisal, appraisal review, review of credit bureau reports and loan application along with KYC and other supporting documents submitted by Sales Managers

- Recommend or Approve MSE loan proposals as per the product/policy and as per delegated powers..

- Provide suggestions on the MSE Business Loan appraisal system to make the process more efficient to minimize the risk and maximize the quality of loan portfolio

- Keep Industry and market changes in mind while recommending and approving cases. Generate market intelligence on emerging risks including competition in our markets.

- Assist Management to make loan portfolio quality analysis and share the findings with Regional and Area managers for taking required action to improve the quality

- To monitor non starters/Cheque bounce trends, the incumbent will also be required to interact with the customers in the portfolio on an ongoing basis for credit related issues.

- Coordinate with Collection Team on recovery of loan delinquencies and ensure 100% loan recovery.

- Make regular Branch & Field visits and review the loan appraisals and sanctions made the CPOs.

- Preparing dashboards with efficiency and productivity ratio analysis.

- To ensure Audit compliance and regulatory compliance for the location.

Qualifications :

- The person should be a Graduate/MBA from a recognized institution with minimum 8 years of experience in Credit Underwriting in Banks or NBFCs.

- Strong knowledge of Credit Underwriting process and policy for both secured and unsecured business loans.

- Mandatory supervisory experience in Credit Management is a must. The candidate should have handled a team of at least 5-10 members.

- Should have handled Unsecured/Secured Business Loans of ticket sizes between 3-20 Lakhs.

- Excellent oral and written communication, with proven skills in consulting with internal business clients and external customers

- Versatile, dynamic candidate who demonstrates initiative, is results-oriented, and flexible

- Strong leadership capabilities evidenced by the ability to gain the trust of, negotiate with, influence and motivate a diverse group of stakeholders of varying levels

- Ability to drive change and improve the end-to-end processes with a strong, proven track record in business process re-engineering and systems analysis

- Should be able to speak and read Telugu, English & Hindi. Knowledge of Tamil is an added advantage.
