Job Description:

CredR is looking for a candidate who has a deep understanding of the four wheeler industry - specifically cars. You would own all the key metrics that govern the Category's health with an expertise in complete e-commerce value chain to manage the category end-to-end, exceptional leadership qualities, must be analytically driven and data focused.

Key Deliverables :

- Act as the business owner for his or her categories, possessing a complete understanding of internal and external variables that impact our business (this entails owning forecasting, monitoring, understanding and reporting on the category, along with responsibility for driving strategic projects and promotions to achieve business objectives)

- Have a thorough understanding of the industry, seasonality and global trends/events, and continually monitor competitor/industry developments

- Conduct financial analysis of business opportunities to meet and exceed revenue and profitability targets

- Segment the revenue opportunities and approach them methodically ; maximize CredR's long-term business profitability

- Use analytical insight, trend assessment and Market Structure to create strategy and schematic development

- Have a complete understanding of the customer needs, both existing and potential, and use that knowledge to deliver site features that provide CredR customers with an unparalleled buying experience

- Manage vendor relationships - manage supplier/partner contracts, manage day-to-day relationships, and negotiate and secure marketing funds

- Create business plans for new opportunities ; develop and execute project plans for the launch of new features, incorporating pricing strategies

- Coordinate cross-functional teams, and communicate with internal and external parties, while meeting tight deadlines

- Work closely with the business head to grow the category and with the product, operations and other relevant teams to ensure the category targets are met

- Work within the vision and strategy defined by the Business Head

- Ensure customer service is top notch and is never compromised

Qualifications/Experience :

- Bachelor's degree required / MBA a must from top tier institutes

- Procurement experience, with proven track record of savings and improvements - 1 to 2 years

- Mandatory experience in ecommerce is required

- Relevant experience in Internet/Online/Automobile industry is an added advantage

- Experience displaying the ability to manage a category at both macro and micro level and an understating of the impact it has on the organization as a whole

Core Competencies :

- Commercial mindset with proven analytical skills and highly numerate

- Ability to think both strategically and tactically with strong attention to detail

- Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results

- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal

- Build and lead an effective and cohesive management team

- Willing to relocate/travel on short notice

Salary : Industry standards

Primary Location : (Metros or Tier-1 Cities)
