Role Description

The Presales Manager is a core member of the Sales team and works closely with Sales Directors. The Go-to-Market role has responsibilities spread across Pre-sales, Solution Consulting and Sales support in terms of ongoing knowledge enhancement to drive Sales efficiency. The role is expected to grow into a Subject Matter Expert in the area of Analytical Scorecards in general and Credit Scoring in particular. The role will report to the Head of Pre Sales and Solution Consulting.

Responsibilities

- Actively engaging with the Sales directors and prospective customers to support movement of opportunities from Discovery to Proposal and eventually to Win.

- Working with Clients and Sales Directors as the go-to-expert and advocate for our Platform and products

- Supporting Go to Market activities such as RFI/RFP, proposal preparation and solution collateral management

- Designing a Sales effectiveness program with ongoing refinement of workshops / modules including assessment

- Development and ongoing refinement of the program that will help keep the Sales team up to date with developments in the areas of Credit and Credit scoring.

- Supporting the development and ongoing refinement of Analytics and Data Science Consulting solutions for clients

Background and experience required

- 5-8 years of relevant experience in SaaS software presales, consulting, business analysis, analytics or product functions

- BFSI domain experience with direct exposure to Consumer / Small Business credit is preferred

- Conversant with Data Science and Analytics - particularly analytical modeling and scorecard concepts

- Self-motivated team player at ease with client stakeholders across functions such as Risk, Credit, Analytics, Technology, Compliance and across hierarchies

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

- Banking and credit knowledge with FinTech thinking
