Creditexchange is India's only regulatory compliant, hybrid consumer loans marketplace for institutional investors. Through our platform, consumers with a widerange of credit profiles and histories, including first time borrowers, will getaccess to convenient, flexible and cheaper personal loans. Institutional investors will be able to seamlessly co-invest, along with Creditexchange, in hundreds or even thousands of these loans with attractive risk-adjusted yields through optimum diversification.  Creditexchange is being developed in partnership with LendFoundry, a market-leader in the development of technology stacks for alternative lending companies in North America. The platform will allow Creditexchange to offer real-time, dynamic funding decisions to borrowers, and investors with aconvenient, transparent, and secure portal through which they can seamlessly co-invest in loans.  The AVP - Machine Learning will be responsible for researching and build machine-learning models to enable large scale risk assessment and decisions, including:  - Design and develop data-driven origination and risk management strategies  - Extracting insights from massive and highly complex data sets to identify credit and fraud risk patterns through advanced data mining and machine learning techniques  - Work with the Credit and Analytics teams in deploying risk decisioning strategies, system enhancement, new product capabilities, trouble-shooting issues etc.  - Design reports to track portfolio credit mix change and risk performance measurements, collection effectiveness and efficiency. Conduct complex data analysis to identify opportunities of optimizing resource use and minimizing credit loss  - Conduct on-going risk solutions / strategy performance monitoring and re-optimization  - Perform various ad-hoc analysis relating to fraud and credit risk management, communicate and share insights  The candidate will:  - 4+ years of machine learning experience (not necessarily in financial services).  - Have a deep understanding of machine learning models and other self-learning algorithms  - Working experience in R, Python, Weka and other statistical tools and techniques.   - Have strong experience with object-oriented design, coding and testing patterns  - Have in experience building big data solutions  - Experience in architecting, building and maintaining (commercial or open source) software platforms and large-scale data infrastructures  - Understanding of credit decisioning for personal loans, CIBIL scores and other credit evaluation metrics
