Looking for a VP - Talent Development Lead
Job Role:-
- Transition the India TD function from a transaction based unit to a true business partner, through establishing OD and LD programs such as Talent Reviews, Talent Programs, targeted Hi-po development, Career Paths for key specialist roles and Leadership Training
- Understand global Learning programs/frameworks and implement in India; design and deploy new ones as needed; adopt industry-wide best practices
- Establish governance structures for Learning initiatives and establish close partnership with the India site lead, deploying line managers and multiple stakeholders to agree on the scope and timing of programs
- Oversee the conduct of needs analysis to determine skills and knowledge needed for CoE deployed roles
- Program manage onboarding & continuing education curriculum for India: scope, objectives, project plan, etc.
- Manage resources (budget, headcount, internal resources and vendors) to meet quality, cost and timeline requirements and report progress appropriately.
- Deliver/facilitate leadership training sessions as needed and agreed in overall strategy
- Monitor effectiveness closely in particular the quality of learning in line with the global COE on boarding monitoring formats and update and modify programs as needed
- Develop linkages & partnerships with universities and local vendors to deliver quality training on an ongoing basis and provide India CS specific partnerships
- Research existing firm programs and leverage programs where appropriate and evaluate e-learning options to support new hire training
- Manage the TD team in India, and build a best-in-class and highly credible function
Requirement:-
The successful candidate should display the following attributes:
- Strong relationship management/influencing skills and experience with a keen awareness of client’s business area and priorities
- Able to think strategically and offer practical solutions
- Experience with creating / implementing learning & development and/or organizational development programs
- Expertise in instructional design methodology and application of learning strategy utilizing learning technology (e.g., LMS, Collaboration Tools, etc.)
- Experience with human capital management, succession planning, performance management and/or organizational development activities preferred
- Good analytical and conceptual abilities
- Strong knowledge of and links with India vendors in the area of OD / LD
- Project management experience
- Strong presentation and facilitation skills, preferably with stand-up training experience, and desire to utilize these skills
- Be a self-starter with track record in initiating and implementing large scale initiatives.
Qualification:-
- MBA in HR or related domain(s) from Tier-I B-Schools
- Certification in tools like MBTI etc preferable
