As part of the CFO division, Group Controlling/ Expense Management provide transparent and reliable information to our stakeholders by optimizing the use of financial resources. This includes:

Month End financial close activities for Non Comp Expenses (NCE)

Providing transparent, accurate and timely management reporting of month end close activities/performance measurement to key clients

Ensuring transparency and efficiency of the Expense Line Control processes

Support the month end close activities. This would involve

Analysing the general ledger

Data Enrichment (normalising data to ensure comprehensive reporting to a granular level of details for various expense lines)

Commentary writing including Year on year variances and Month on month movements and ageing analysis.

Liaising with onshore counterparts and regional COOs for explaining the movement in accruals and any other manual adjustments during the close process.

Working with Expense Line Controllers to ensure adequacy and accuracy of accruals and other entries in the
P&L.

Calculation and posting of accruals each month.

Posting of reclasses.

Reconciliation and sign-off of Balance sheet accounts.

Supporting the various Reorganizations and Restatements.

Ad hoc reporting and close activities during quarters and year end.

You Offer.

CA or CA Inter or MBA Finance with 4 to 5 years’ experience

Accounting and Financial close support

Financial Reporting

Financial Services Background preferable

Knowledge of Financial Systems

Strong client focus attitude

Strong excel skills

Essbase and Business Objects preferable

Analytical & problem solving ability

Focus on delivery

Attention to detail

Strong verbal and written communications abilities

Experience supporting teams/partners remotely preferable
