We are looking for a Data Scientist who will support our Risk & Financial Data Analytics, Reporting Function. You have adept at selecting and using appropriate methodologies on large data sets to find opportunities for optimization data and business process. You have a proven ability to test the effectiveness of different courses of action to drive business results with their data-based insights. You will have a real passion for discovering solutions hidden in large data sets and working with partners to improve business outcomes. Should be a strong team-player and have the ability to work with diverse project teams in a global setup

We Offer

- Work closely with functional partners to identify problem statements/desired business outcomes and formulate - use cases- that are significant and actionable via data science/analytics

- Build relevant data visualizations that communicate findings and relate them back to how data insights have business impact; enable prioritization of business impact ideas

- Develop the approach and success criteria (including measurement metrics and roadmap) for use of the CRO/CFO data laboratory to solve business problems with clear use cases; For each use case, identify what data sets are available and where these need to be sourced

- Coordination across CRO partners to develop strategies for effective data analysis and reporting of insights/opportunities

- Communicate results and ideas to key decision makers

- Optimize joint development efforts across functions through appropriate project design

- Implement new statistical or other mathematical methodologies as needed for specific models or analysis

- Work with the other data scientist in constantly building the "data science" expertise and tools thereof

- Continuously learn from data patterns to further improve CRO/CFO understanding of data its data

- Ability to keep up-to-date with the latest technology trends

You offer -

- An experienced professional working with a minimum of 10 years industry experience in Financial Services industry with at least 5 years working of hands on experience as Data Scientist

- You have strong experience using a variety of data mining/data analysis methods, data tools, building and implementing models, using/creating algorithms and creating/running simulations.

- Synthesize analytical and statistical methodology and data into actionable business strategy that drive business results

- You have the ability to build relevant and powerful visualizations/presentation that tells a story from insights into data

- Experience with data supporting Market, Credit Risk and Finance business processes and IT architecture landscape

- You have excellent partner management/influencing skills, strong executive presence skills with an ability to influence senior partners and manage resources not under direct control

- You are a strong team-player with a collaborative approach comfortable working with wide range of partners and functional teams

- Operates with emotional intelligence, maturity and integrity

- Experience in applying machine learning and advanced analytics techniques

- You have experience with data visualization (e.g. Tableau/Qlik) and ability to tell data stories

- Knowledge in big data technologies such as Hadoop and Spark would be an advantage
