AVP - Site Management - COO Support

Description : 

- A diverse, middle level position that assists the Strategic initiatives (Business Development, Branding, Service Model concept) as well as handles the day to day Site operations of CS Powai. Additionally, he/she will support the day-to-day running, handles the financial, risk and control aspects of the site, handles site operations and reporting in India.

- Provide business support to the COO, act as deputy, and support in further developing the vision, strategy and value proposition for the site

- Develop business & implementation strategy vis-vis Site vision, assist in preparing concept paper and/or presentation

- Research Offshoring, HR and other topics and benchmark exercises to ensure we stay current on standard methodologies and industry trends

- Support strategic initiatives and projects for the COO/Site function

- Maintain up-to-date documentation of operating models, interpersonal structures, site governance, etc.

- Prepare high-quality, impactful PowerPoint presentations and Word documents that have a coherent structure, follow a clear storyline, and show strong analytical rigor and thought on time and for meetings led by or with the COO

- Prepare and facilitate Site Management meetings and onsite, including agenda setting, keeping meeting minutes and tracking actions

- Work with COO, Business Managers and other parties to obtain input for daily meetings, review materials for various senior management meetings and ensure that COO is well-prepared and briefed for all meetings and engagements

- Help organizing Site Governance & COO departmental meetings including Global COO Forums (e.g., Management Committees, Risk & Control meetings etc) and internal and external speaking engagements.

- Help organize other meetings, high profile visits, events schedules e.g., town halls, senior management appointments, staff meetings, etc.

- Finance, Risk and Control

- Handle headcount nos for demand and capacity of CS Powai, work closely with Central GBSS teams

- Track Budgets, track expenses and Concur items

- Handle risks and controls across the site, including coordination of audits, tracking the closure of audit points

- In partnership with the functions, lead day-to-day controls, and operational risk incident reporting and remediation

- Site Operations and Performance Reporting

- Partner with IT, Corporate Real Estate Services, Financial Accounting, Business Continuity Management and HR to support growth of the site, ensure that a robust and cost-efficient infrastructure is provided

- Maintain the site-wide performance measurements and reports; work with Central GBSS teams to ensure accuracy of reporting & numbers

- Review monthly Site Performance Scorecard, monitor the development of key performance indicators, analyze trends around human capital, financial, risk/control and operational metrics, and synthesize commentary on behalf of Site Management / Site Head

Site Strategy and Strategic Initiatives :

- Support and drive the implementation of Site strategy that is built on the strategic priorities of; growing utilization, improving service excellence, developing a service model and driving the CS Powai talent agenda

- In cooperation with the Head Site, set and handle the implementation of the Site strategic objectives and annual business plan for the India sites and its affiliates (as required)

- Build and maintain site marketing material / the pitch book and track project progress


- You have a minimum of Five years work experience in business development, offshoring/finance, operations management, business development and/or implementation of change

- You have proficiency with PowerPoint, Excel, and Word; ability to independently build high-quality presentations, documents and spreadsheets

- You have proven record in handling Corporate Functions/Operations and/or service delivery

- You have strong experience in project management capabilities;

- You are results-oriented; ability to produce clear, concise reporting; attention to detail is a requirement

- You have strong business insight with a strategic perspective and ability to quickly understand the impact of decisions on the business

- You have generalist experience in a number of business disciplines: finance, HR and organizational design

- You have international experience in an MNC in India or abroad

- You have strong communication skills, both written and verbal

- You have University degree (Master) or equivalent; business or finance
