Job Description

Pursue and Structure Transactions: Take the lead in identifying and pursuing equity investment, acquisition, and joint venture opportunities. Engage directly with potential targets to negotiate term sheets and letters of intent, ensuring alignment with our strategic objectives.

Valuation and Financial Analysis: Develop comprehensive valuation models for potential investments and acquisitions. Conduct detailed financial analysis to assess synergy potential and accretion/dilution impacts. Utilize financial models and analytical tools to evaluate the financial feasibility of transactions.

Deal Approval Presentations: Lead the preparation and delivery of deal approval presentations to relevant deal committees and executive leadership, including the C-suite. Effectively communicate the rationale, financial analysis, and strategic benefits of investment and acquisition opportunities.

Collaboration and Stakeholder Management: Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including business unit leaders, legal teams, and finance teams, to ensure alignment and smooth execution of transactions. Manage relationships with external parties, including potential targets, advisors, and legal counsel.

Due Diligence: Oversee and coordinate the due diligence process for investment and acquisition opportunities. Ensure that all relevant aspects, including financial, legal, operational, and regulatory considerations, are thoroughly evaluated.

Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Identify and assess potential risks associated with investment and acquisition transactions. Develop strategies and plans to mitigate risks and ensure successful execution of deals.

Integration Planning: Collaborate with relevant teams to develop integration plans for acquired businesses. Ensure seamless integration of acquired assets and operations into the existing organization.

Requirements:

- 10+ years of progressive career success in Corporate Development, PE or VC roles, preferably with deal experience in financial services or fintech.

- Prior experiencing leading or managing teams for a minimum of 3 years.

- CA or CFA charter is a plus
